Are you a talented fashion writer looking for experience as a style blogger? Linkqlo (http://linkqlo.com) is an innovative fashion social network for both men and women. We’re on a mission to solve an industry-wide challenge – helping people of all sizes find clothes that fit. To increase community awareness and attract new users, we are looking for a part-time fashion writer to create original content for our platform.
Our office is located in Sunnyvale, CA. While this position is not on-site, we prefer the writer be in San Francisco Bay Area for occasional meet-ups, in-person discussions, and brainstorming sessions, as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will write original articles on a weekly basis about fashion trends and style tips relevant to Linkqlo, in order to increase community awareness and engage users across all marketing channels (each article will be about 500 words, with a minimum of two pictures to accompany each piece).
REQUIREMENTS
- Love of fashion and knowledge about the industry
- Excellent grammar, writing, and communication
- Superior research and fact-checking skills, with attention to detail
- Tech-savvy
- Degree in fashion, communication or journalism
PLUSES
- Experience of leveraging social networks to strengthen relationships with other bloggers, influencers and brand ambassadors
- Knowledge of WordPress
- Fashion photographer skills
- A strong follower base on Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter or your personal blog
