Herbert is a serial global entrepreneur. Before Linkqlo he cofounded Dragon Dreams Animation Studio in 2013 to build China’s Pixar, and Galaxy Idea in 2010 to develop pioneering peer-recommendation social network apps in China. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Herbert was a CFO for two Series-B startups in China overseeing capital allocation of $85 million, team expansion to 1,500, and revenue growth of more than $100 million. Previously Herbert was an executive in General Electric through ten global leadership rotations in Asia, Europe and US. Herbert is a graduate from Stanford Graduate School of Business and National University of Singapore.

In his spare time, Herbert produces entertainment in various forms, including event hosting, DJ, flash mob, cheer leading, rock band and an occasionally sarcastic series “Confession of a Stanford Sloan Fellow” on his blog “the Good, the Bad, and the Curious‘. In 2012, Herbert directed and produced the wildly successful Stanford Gangnam Style Flash Mob, which became a viral hit on youtube and was featured by CNN and BBC.  In the subsequent month Herbert and his team of Stanford GSB classmates got invited to perform the same dance at the half-time show of Stanford’s NCAA Men’s Basketball Game.
